8Days Kenya Honeymoon safari
1/2 Amboseli
Fly to Amboseli National Park where you spend 2 nigts. Morning and afternoon
game viewing. All meals and overnight at Tortilis camp.
Amboseli is best known for its unrivalled views of
Kilimanjaro and the local elephant population. There are
over 1000 elephants in the parks eco-system, featuring
some of the largest in Africa. Tortilis Camp is named
after the flat-topped, umbrella thorn tree, the Acacia
Tortilis, and is situated in one of Amboseli's areas of
Acacia Tortilis woodland, with the majestic backdrop of
Africa's highest mountain, and the World’s highest
free-standing mountain, snow-capped Kilimanjaro. Game
drives, walks, sundowners and bush meals take place both
inside the park, and within a private 30,000 acre game
concession.
The tents are all large and spacious, with king or twin
beds, elegant en suite bathrooms. There is a main
lounge, bar and dining area, all exquisitely built with
natural materials and thatched roofs, with magnificent
views of Kilimanjaro.
Day 3 Mt.Kenya Safari club
After an early breakfast, fly to Nairobi and transfer by
road to sweat waters Tented camp for lunch. Afternoon
game viewing. Dinner and overnight at Mt. Kenya safari
club.
Day 4 Samburu National Reserve
Breakfast at Mt.Kenya safari club. Rest of the morning
at leisure. Lunch at Mt. Kenya safari club. Depart Mt.
Kenya to Samburu national Reserve arriving early
evening. Dinner and overnight at Larsen’s tented camp. The highlights of Samburu game reserve is the
spectacular scenic beauty, rivers and forests. It is an
area where the local people have a rich and colorful
heritage. The reserves have numerous permanent springs
and a wealth of wildlife which includes leopard, hippo,
elephant, lion, reticulated giraffe, grevy’s zebra
Dikdik and
crocodile in the Ewaso Nyiro river. Over 365 species of
birds have been identified in the sanctuarie
Day 5 Samburu
Early morning and afternoon game viewing. All meals and
overnight at Larsen’s Tented camp.
Day 6 Masai mara
Breakfast in Samburu .Depart for Nairobi arriving at
approximately 1300 hrs. Lunch at Nairobi and transfer to
Wilson airport for afternoon flight to Masai Mara.
Dinner and overnight at Mara safari club or Kichwa Tembo
camp.
The Maasai Mara Game Reserve is arguably Kenya’s most
popular game sanctuary. It is the most famous and most
visited game reserve in Kenya. The film ‘Out of Africa’
was made to a great extent in this reserve. Virtually
every type of wildlife can be seen at the Mara. A
spectacle worth seeing is the annual migration of
millions of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle from Serengeti
plains across the Tanzania border and the Mara River to
reach Maasai Mara grazing fields from late June. The
dramatic crossing of the river and the preying on the
migrants by predators can be viewed from early July to
August. The reserve abounds with birdlife since dose to
about 452 species have been recorded. Hot air balloon
safaris are readily available in this park
Day 7 Full day in Masai mara.
Morning and afternoon game viewing. All meals and
overnight at Mara safari club or Kichwa Tembo camp.
Day 8 Nairobi
Early morning game viewing, breakfast, rest of the
morning at leisure. Lunch and thereafter depart for
Nairobi arriving approximately1700 hrs.
