CHIMPANZEE TREKKING SAFARI UGANDA AND MOUNTAIN GORILLA
EXPEDITION
7 Days Chimpanzee Trekking Uganda Safari
Day one:
Our chimpanzee and Gorilla Safari begins with meet and
greet from Entebbe airport. Your safari guide then
transfers to Kampala to your hotel.
Overnight at The Cassia Lodge.
Meal Plan - Bed and breakfast.
TRANSIT TIME 45 Minutes
Day Two: Kibale Safari , Tour
After morning breakfast from the lodge. Your safari
guide will transfer you through Mubende arriving in Fort
Portal for lunch. Later you proceed to the Kibale Forest
arriving for
dinner and overnight at the Primate Lodge/Ndali
Lodge/Chimp Nest Lodge.

TRANSIT TIME 5 HOURS
Day Three: Primate Watching Uganda Safari
Morning breakfast, later start a half day Forest walk in
the Forest on your Chimpanzee safari. The walk in the
forest by experienced guides takes us to an area where a
troop of chimpanzees will be feeding. You may want to
look out for the Red Colubus(an endemic species only
found in this forest in Uganda). Other primates include
the Chimpanzee, Grey Cheeked Mangabeys and others. In
the afternoon, take a swamp walk in Magombe for a closer
to nature encounter. Later, depart from the forest and
transfer to Fortportal Mountains of the Moon for dinner
and overnight.

Day four: Bwindi Gorilla tour Uganda
Breakfast at leisure before heading through a short
safari of Queen ELizabeth National park along the road.
You are likely to see Uganda Kob, Elephant, Waterbuck,
Cape Buffalo and may be lucky to find the tree climbing
Lions along the main road relaxing in fig trees. Proceed
to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest arriving at the Buhoma the
Gorilla Staging area where dinner and overnight is at
The Gorilla Resort.

Day five: Bwindi Gorilla Tracking in Uganda
Your Gorilla Safari starts after breakfast. The Mountain
Gorilla rangers and trackers through the thick and steep
vegetation will be tracking the Gorillas ahead of the
main party and will direct the trekking party of a
maximum of 8 gorilla visitors to the feeding area. The
Mountain Gorillas will be viewed for only one hour
before a lunch break is allowed for your picnic lunch.
The gorilla safari ends with the return to The Gorilla
Resort for refreshments of beers, sodas,wines and
cocktails by the fire place.

TREKKING TIME - 30 Minutes - 8 HOURS
Day six: Uganda Adventure Tour
After breakfast, our trip return trip takes us to
Mbarara where we will have our picnic lunches alongside
the Long Horn Ankole Cows. Stop at the Uganda Equator
for those who wish to buy crafts as well as taking
pictures. Later, we transfer tp Kampala arriving before
dark for overnight at the Cassia Lodge.

TRANSIT TIME 8 - 9 HOURS
Day seven: End of Uganda Tour
Our Gorilla-Chimpanzee safari ends with an airport
transfer which takes about 45 minutes.
